Greg Tingle Congratulations
to our winner, well respected and passionate Dick Smith, who has been campaigning
about looking after Australian interests for decades. Well done to our runner
up, the charismatic, daring and not publicity shy - Richard Branson (Virgin Group
and Virgin Unite), and in 3rd place, the humble and extremely savvy Todd Tai,
known for his close association with Australian Geographic for many years, as
well as fundraising, eco tourism adventures, and love of the environment. Mr.
Tai has never before been officially nominated for Media Man awards, and his inclusion
is well overdue. We're sure we will be hearing a lot more about Todd in the near
future. We understand that there may be a friendly (or not) rivalry between Mr.
Smith and Mr. Branson spanning decades. We're not sure if both gents have ever
actually met. Perhaps both being nominated for the award in the same month may
somehow bring them closer together for the greater good and alleviate any tension
between them, if it existed (you know you can not totally trust newspaper reports).
Congratulations to all for helping make the community and planet a better place.

Dick Smith I
have never been so angry!! Please
watch my video, where I expose foreign-owned multinationals for extorting millions
of dollars from small, family businesses in Australian country towns in the middle
of a drought. In
the video, I compare this extortion to the protection money paid by
Kings Cross hotel owners to crime gangs in the 1950s. This
is not voluntary. Our small country family businesses are forced to sign up to
these foreign booking websites, otherwise they will lose up to 50% of their business
and be forced into bankruptcy. WATCH
IT NOW! SHARE WITH ALL YOUR COLLEAGUES, FRIENDS & FAMILY! THIS NEEDS TO GO
VIRAL!! (8:30 mins) Listen

Dick. Peter H tipped me on this particular video. I see we know quite a few of
the same folks. I watched all of the video, and I knew alot of this already. I've
been telling various people in the Australian government these concerns for years,
but they haven't acted - at least not in a way that is clearly evident. We read
stories about this in the newspapers sometimes, but it keeps happening. The same
thing re money being sent out of Australia, is happening in other industries also,
but its not as obvious and blatant. I've also discussed this with dozens and dozens
of people I know in business, especially in Sydney's eastern suburbs. It's good
to have our eyes open and be aware. It's time to take action..with wallets. Well
done on your initiative. As you may know I'm a media and sports agent, with a
background in journalism. Great to have met and chatted those years back at Balmain.
Keep me in mind if there's a chance to do some business sometime. Keep up the
good fight. Greg Tingle, Media Man Int

Welcome
to Dick Smith Fair Go DICK SMITH FAIR GO·THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 2018 At
the suggestion of a friend of mine, I have decided to show leadership and attempt
a change for the better. Thats why Ive started the Dick Smith Fair
Go Group, to try and influence one or both of the major political parties to come
up with policies that reflect the interests of the 99% What do we do
about unsustainable perpetual growth, increasing inequality, and declining job
opportunities due to robots and automation? The
demographers tell us that in rich nations such as Australia, the next generation
will live shorter lives than their parents while levels of unhappiness and mental
illness will be rising. Most of us feel something is wrong but we dont
know what to do about it. Surely
our grand-kids should have as good a life as we have had? That is a fundamental
belief of our group. The prime aim will be to find ways to stabilise our population
and to share the wealth better. Dick
Smith Rather
than start a new political party (a very difficult and slow undertaking), I have
decided it would be more realistic and effective to influence the existing parties
where they feel it most at the ballot box. Of
course it wont be easy. The only way the major parties can be elected at
the present time is by spending a staggering amount on election advertising, and
this comes primarily from wealthy donors who have a vested interest in growth
to provide more consumers to buy their products, keeping perpetual growth going. With
modern political parties only being elected with a 1% or 2% majority, it is clear
that you only need a very small number of voters to tip the balance. That is the
plan! To
understand the issues facing Australians today and recommended solutions, please
read our Manifesto here. I
hope you come on board as a supporter of the group. Its free, but I would
appreciate any contributions
to assist in communicating our plans. (Dick
