Triple
H talks about changing WWE's perception in the media: Triple H's Road to WrestleMania
by
Greg Tingle
The
cat is way out of the bag - as the Media Man agency documented in a series of
articles over the past few years, Nostalgia Still Sells, and so does Behind The
Scenes, and great storytelling. This show will cover all of the above, and much
more! Upon the new the Media Man Int Twitter went into overdrive... "I'm
pumped for this show" was the sentiment.
In
a tag team effort, the WWE powers that be at Murdoch's Fox Sports are teaming
up to deliver a brilliant new weekly WWE show.
Paul
Triple H Levesque was interviewed by the FS1 (Fox Sports 1) morning
show hosts this past Friday, where he announced that the cable channel will launch
a new weekly WWE themed studio show this fall (excuse the American speak, Aussie
fans and readers).
The
studio based program will cover Raw, SmackDown and NXT.
It
will also marry up the past, present and future - quote grabs from host Jenna
Wolfe, include feature some very faces familiar to the WWE Universe, both
from the past and the present".
Long
time fans believe the show will have a bit of a "Tuesday Night Titans"
meets "Legends Of Wrestling" (WWE Network) feel, but be even better
and more compelling viewing than those popular and iconic productions.
Triple
H told Wolfe, Cris Carter and Nick Wright that a studio show is something hes
wanted to happen for a very long time.
WrestleMania
35 will emanate from New Jerseys MetLife Stadium. Streaming will commence
on WWE Network at 7/6c. The much loved WWE Hall of Fame has already been streamed
this year, and a "Pre-Show" will also be broadcast prior to the official
WrestleMania show, which is expected to go for approximately 7 hours, headlined
by a Women's Triple Threat Match: Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair vs Becky Lynch.
Most insiders have Lynch to win, but in the past 48 hours there's been more speculation
that Flair will take out the big one. ESPN recently got wrapped over the knuckles
for referring to Charlotte as "Ric Flair's daughter", while technically
correct, she is her own person and is responsible for her own success. Lynch maintains
her own success was earned, not given. Let the catfight begin (actually technical
wrestling with some brawling and theatrics. Rousey has threatened to go "off
script". A 4 star plus match is expected by most who closely follow the WWE's
brand of sports entertainment aka pro wrestling.
WWE's
SmackDown Live debuts Oct. 4 on Foxs broadcast network, as per
details documented via the Media Man network websites.
WrestleMania
Season is in full swing, and the FS1 announcement gives the WWE Universe something
else to be pumped about.

This sounds like a natural evolution of the product and an excellent way for the
WWE to maximize their minutes via the Fox media machine. I'm pumped for this
