Human Statue Bodyart creative arts agency has been
extremely busy of late as Australia continues through
a sizzling hot Summer.

of the more recent creations of Human Statue Bodyart
Hilton Flower Girl - Zeta Bar, Sydney Hilton Hotel...
Flower Girl: a model decked out in flower garden themes
to compliment 'The Secret Garden' setting at the Zeta
Bar. 'The Secret Garden' at the Zeta has been talked
about positively around the globe. It's no secret
that Human Statue Bodyart helped add some massive
WOW! factor to the campaign.
Santa Stone - Mooney Valley Racing Club...
Stone: A male model dressed in a Santa outfit that
appeared to look like concrete or sandstone. Yes,
you read correctly. Santa Stone entertained and delighted
the kids, parents and guests at Mooney Valley Racing
Club in Melbourne, Victoria.
Bodypainting and face painting the hotels interior
golden theme for Langham Hotel, Sydney...
delighted guests, staff and anyone else who encountered
the impressive artwork, so much so that some staff
members wanted to get their own face painted in the
theme. Maybe next campaign.
Chimmichurri Bar & Grill, Darlinghurst, Sydney...
agency was contracted to make up two fairy human statues,
one male, one female.
Statue Bodyart was once again called upon by an ultra
successful theatrical entertainment company, in collaboration
with a major Australian dining destination, to help
make them stand out from the pack and create a magical
evening's entertainment, and once again Human Statue
delivered with spades (and fairy statues).
Eva Rinaldi, Vince Cantali and Andrew made up the
two models, Phylicia and Daniel, who became unrecognisable
once they were fully made out as fairies.
fairies complimented the Christmas elves and the overall
complete entertainment package which was the 'Mid
Summer Nights' Dream', South American style, on the
first night of Summer in Australia, and what a hot
night of entertainment it was.

Statue Bodyartist Eva Rinaldi Featured In Today's
New Idea - 6th December 2010
most successful and well known bodyartist, Eva Rinaldi,
is featured in today's New Idea magazine (pages 16
and 17 to be precise).
Sydney based artist, widely acknowledged as Australia's
biggest Oprah fan, has been following 'O's show since
it first hit Australian airwaves about a decade ago.
Rinaldi's son, Joseph, was a large part of her inspiration
to start painting, a journey she's been on since 1997.
today's New Idea she says "I just love her. She's
my biggest inspiration, as a person and businesswoman.
I cry every time I watch her show".
followers will be aware of her Australian tour which
will include at least two official TV tapings. The
fine details of the show, even including the guest
list and a range of surprises, are being closely guarded.
tourism and government analysts forecast that Oprah's
show will generate millions of dollars of exposure
for Australia, and the Sydney Opera House is acting
as a major hub for the entertainment and media icon.
Bondi Beach is also understood to be high on her priorities.
buzz is the Oprah will spend part of her time in Australia
at a real families home.
tuned to this blog, Network Ten, New Idea and most
mainstream media outlets for more details as the countdown
to Oprah down under continues.
bodyartist Eva Rinaldi unveils SMH human newspaper
statue for eco expo, Greg Tingle - 10th November 2010
Today's Australian Waste & Recycling Expo at Sydney
Olympic Park started innocently enough at Homebush
in Sydney's west.
was fantastic, located close by to some of Sydney's
most impressive public transport infrastructure like
trains and (eco friendly) buses.
did the event organises and exhibitors know it was
a matter of the calm before the storm.
a hundred of Australia's best and brightest waste,
recycling and eco based companies showcased their
wares, all looking to gain a competitive advantage,
stand out from the pack, and we suspect, generate
a few headlines. Some succeeded more than others,
but from what we saw, every exhibitor stand was a
is usually the case with any field, there's only so
much room at the top, and sometimes the right marketing,
salesperson, attitude, media or even pseudo publicity
stunt or gimmick, can make all of the difference.
switched on exhibition manager Sue Reid, was smart
enough to see she "needed" to add an extra
spark to the event, which incidentally its opening
day fell on the same day as an afternoon shower. Ms
Reid was not going to let anyone or anything "rain
on her parade", weather being accommodating or
not. The atmosphere was warm and inviting.
the days prior Ms Reid had contracted arguably Australia's
most famous and talented bodyart and human statue
curator, Eva Rinaldi. If you think you recognise the
name, your probably right. Ms Rinaldi is the one who
has embarked on a national and international campaign
to bodypaint and do creative works on American talk
show queen, Oprah Winfrey, and just quietly, its on
track we hear.
there was no sign of any Oprah (or John Travolta)
"knock off". There was however a gorgeous
creature which when she spoke made it seem as if she
just flew into Australia from some exotic island.
Upon probing she identified herself as "Victoria",
but the miss wasn't there for her mastery of the Oxford
Directory, she was there to add visual excitement
and wow factor to the expo, and wow factor she did
achieve in spades.
insider joked "Green Eyed Monster", but
we're sure they were just kidding. Perhaps 'Gorgeous
Green Machine' may have been more fitting. In any
event, she was a eye catcher, bodypaint or not, but
Rinaldi must be given full credit for her incredible
transformation that would have saw her fit into the
film set of 'The Green Lantern' or 'The Incredible
Hulk', and you get the idea. It was WOW!
to tight deadlines Victoria was bodypainted almost
head to toe in an amazing 30mins, and finished off
in wait for it...a dress made out of virtually nothing
but a hand crafted edition of popular broadsheet,
The Sydney Morning Herald, the flagship title of media
powerhouse, Fairfax Media. Victoria's handcrafted
accessories included earrings, hat, gloves and travel
bag. For the record most of the bodypaint was silver
in colour and branded just enough for instant recognition
with 'Australian Waste & Recycling Expo'.
marketing and media savvy onlookers were said to be
overheard talking about just how marketing and media
savvy both Ms Rinaldi and Ms Reid were. We think they
print newspapers have come up with different slogans
over the years... The New York Times "All The
News That's Fit To Print", and even the beloved
Sydney Morning Herald "Start A Conversation",
but we feel today's model dressed in virtually nothing
by a recycled SMH broadsheet said it all. And true
to the newspapers' slogan, she was certainly "starting
a conversation". One can just imagine if a traditional
paper boy was at the show screaming at the top of
his lungs 'Read All About It'!
a day and age when many a marketing gimmick and news
headline looks pretty recycled, this event, the model...
the whole package looked as fresh as a daisy.
for the record, Fairfax Media's newspaper publications
are made from recycled paper; the powers that be wouldn't
have it any other way, nor we suspect would Ms Reid
and the powers that be at the expo.
of expo stands that caught our eye (and the eye of
Victoria - the Human Statue model) included Scania
(the big silver truck engine and beautifully decorated
stand), CAT (with sports car sub brand WestTrac),
NSW Government - Environmental Change and Water),
Eriez (very friendly, great pens and lollies at the
stand), National Recycling Week (linked to Planet
Ark) and bano (solutions for recycling).

your memory, please visit their official website

mystery building up in Sydney suburbs with Eva Rinaldi;
News media companies start probe, by Greg Tingle -
29th October 2010
new mystery has struck Sydney's suburbs, stretching
from Bondi Beach out to Marrickville and beyond, which
has people from all walks of life wondering where
the lovable creatures will strike next.
was film producer / director James Cameron who introduced
the world to 'Avatar' in 2009, however sources close
to Cameron and News Limited owned 20th Century Fox
deny any responsibly for the "rebel" avatar
phenom to hit Sydney streets.
and media insiders have noted however that the "knock
off" Avatar's have a habit of showing up whenever
bodypainter and artist Eva Rinaldi and one or two
of her photographic team are around.
this month alone the rebel 'Avatar' creatures have
been seen and photographed at Bondi Beach (alongside
the graffiti art wall), the Sydney Opera House, Abbotsford
and most recently, Marrickville (Skid Row Radio).
upon appearance the mysterious Avatar's are neither
the work of amateurs, however they are not quite ready
to insert right into a Cameron production either.
source who claims to be close to the rebel Avatar's
leaked that they are quite likely creations of Sydney
based artist Eva Rinaldi, who perhaps not by coincidence
has also embarked on a national - international campaign
to bodypaint and / or create a human statue of Oprah
Winfrey, who is set to hit Australian soil this December.
leak said "I'm pretty sure its Eva Rinaldi behind
this publicity stunt - ambush marketing effort of
sorts. She's very clever. You will note that there's
no branding on her bodypainted creations, unlike the
Barvaria beer happening at the World Cup. She seems
to have her heart in the right place and its not a
blatant brand knock off or anything else that is likely
to get her in hot water on the legal front. It's actually
very clever and talented work and marketing, and she
looks to have created an international marketing and
media campaign on a shoestring budget. I'm pretty
sure had something to do with the Sydney Opera House
'John Travolta' shenanigans last weekend on the open
day also. By plugging into major events she's generating
national and worldwide publicity, and I think it may
even be assisting the official Tourism Australia and
Oprah Winfrey media campaigns also. Her campaign,
if its hers of course, is likely to spark a number
of copy cat artists, and I think that may have already
happened. If one further researches Eva Rinaldi you
come across Human Statue Bodyart on the internet,
and there's a number of photos, articles and even
blog entries that further suggest she is the mastermind
behind these Avatar phenoms".
far both the official Avatar franchise and the mystery
Avatar's have received largely balanced and positive
news media coverage.
Cameron's Avatar recently announced that they will
be doing a trilogy, and something tells us that Rinaldi
and co conspirators are also well aware of that fact.
if you happen to spot any of the rebel Avatar's in
your neighborhood please make contact with both local
authorities and us immediately. No one has offered
any reward money to date, however an anonymous legal
eagle did suggest that if the outbreak of the new
breed of Avatar's become too much of a problem that
reward money may be offered.
or her Human Statue Bodyart enterprise is understood
to have not entered any marketing or media awards
this year, but judging upon her recent efforts we
think most certainly that she should throw her colourful
hat in the ring.
the time of publication a media leak suggested that
Rinaldi and / or the rebel Avatars, will also be covered
in suburban Sydney newspaper, Northern District Times,
published by the Cumberland Newspaper Group.
the meantime entertainment and media commentators
have suggested to enjoy the ride, as its unlikely
to last forever, however with that said, Rinaldi and
friends are understood to always remain one or two
steps ahead of the thought police, adding media tycoon
Richard Branson, John Travolta, Nicole Kidman and
rock gods KISS to her 'To Do - To Paint' list. Rinaldi

Opera House Open Day Gets Visual And Musical Surprise
with Kat Ferguson and Eva Rinaldi, by Greg Tingle
- 24th October 2010
was the special one off open day for the famed Sydney
icon - the Sydney Opera ("Oprah") House.
50,000 lined up to get an insiders look at "The
House", and the wet weather was no deterrent.
were treated to an unexpected (but largely very welcome)
unscheduled happening and performance by Eva Rinaldi
and her Human Statue Bodyart troupe, passionately
campaigning to bodypaint and create a human statue
of Oprah Winfrey and friends, rain, hail or shine.
who has let it been known the world over of her wish
to to paint Oprah and friends, pulled out all the
stops today, even securing singer - songwriter sensation,
Kat Ferguson, who co wrote 'If I Could Have One Wish'
with Kay Fallico.
seemingly impromptu and unscheduled performance drew
considerable attention by visitors, news media and
security, who hung on every word. In a curious twist,
famed Bondi Beach photographer Peter Carrette appeared
out of the middle of nowhere, just as he did last
weekend at Bondi, and appeared to get the cream of
the photographic opportunities, flanked by up and
coming "pap" Marek Jezierski. Both paps
seemed to have better information on the surprise
and were more up to speed than the official Sydney
Opera House security team, who were largely warm and
inviting to Rinaldi's creative surprises.
passes by picked up on some of the lyrics that included
"I feel a masterpiece unfolding, beneath this
paintbrush that I'm holding...Dear Oprah please be
brave, cause every coin I raise, will make this world
a better place." Even some of Rinaldi's bodypainted
models and human statues started singing and dancing,
including her very own 'John Travolta Qantas Pilot'
(Martin Vadam) and Taaleah Jezierski ('Statue Of Liberty'),
Benjamin Cao (Australia reptile) and Jillian Bachara
('BBW Beach Babe'). 'John Travolta' caught the eyes
and heart of a bush swag of Japanese tourists who
were overheard to say "John's hot stuff",
and "Trovolta" responded in kind with a
few dance moves, flex or his pecs and a tip of his
captain's hat. Others were also heard to shout out
"Where's Tom" (Cruise), and chatting about
Gail, Russell, Hugh and Jack Thompson was also picked
up by news media technical equipment.
open day proved to be a big hit with both Aussies,
tourists, news media, celebrities et al, and no doubt
the day further warmed up Australians for both official
and paid performances at "The House" as
well as the pending arrival of Winfrey and friends
folks, Australia still has "Oprah Fever",
regardless of whatever spelling or connotation you
choose, and media leaks advise that Rinaldi and some
of her inner circle will be campaigning again tomorrow
at "people power" news media mainstay, 'Joy's
World' as seen on TVS.
have to hand it to Tourism Australia, Sydney Opera
House, Eva Rinaldi and all news media and performers
involved... they have really got it right this time,
and the surge of campaigning has appeared to put a
shot in the arm of Australia's recently struggling
tourism sector, and the buzz around Sydney's cafes
and water coolers has to be heard to be believed.
Well done Australia, you are once again showing 'The
World' how its done. One last thing... "Let's
