Creative
agency Leo Burnett Sydney was named the agency of
the year, as well as topping the ad network of the
year and NSW agency of the year categories, at last
nights AdNews Awards.
Leo Burnett Sydney beat out Mnet, Soap and Cummins
& Partners to take home the top gong.
Media agency Bohemia took home the award for media
agency of the year, while UM NSW grabbed the media
network of the year title for the second year running.
In
the campaign categories, Saatchi & Saatchis
Penny and the Pirate for Luxottica Australia
won the Game Change and Digitial campaign categories,
while DDB Melbournes Radiant Returns
for Radiant won the ad campaign of the year award
and the branded content award. Initiative picked up
the media campaign of the year award for its work
on Kias Game On.
The evening also saw Scott Whybin inducted into the
Advertising Hall of Fame.
