Floyd
Mayweather Jr further justified his nickname of 'Money'
after winning a court case against a music producer
who accused him of using a song without permission
during a cameo appearance at WWE main event Wrestlemania.
In
2010 Anthony Lawrence Dash sued Mayweather Jr and
the WWE for damages of $150,000, claiming the undefeated
welterweight star had used one of his songs for entrance
music during an appearance at Wrestlemania 24 in 2008.
Mayweather Jr went on to defeat the Big Show during
the event.
However,
according to TMZ.com, a judge recently dismissed Dash's
claim on the basis that the producer could not prove
Mayweather Jr made any money from using the song -
therefore Dash himself could not seek a share of the
profits.
The
American has seen his fair share of pay cheques recently
after receiving $40 million for his defeat of Saul
'Canelo' Alvarez, while also picking up $420,000 from
a winning bet on college football.
