What's made the bigger comeback ... Mickey Rourke's career or his face?

The "Sin City" star was out Thursday afternoon in L.A. visiting his tailor, but it's his face that seems a good fit ... after several years of looking a few sizes too small.

Perhaps like a chocolate soufflé, Rourke's face just needed some time to set.

Seriously ... an amazing turnaround. He looks great.
