ONEWAVE
will try to create the worlds largest fluoro
Mexican wave at Bondi Beach tomorrow morning to celebrate
its fourth birthday.
More
than 500 people are expected to stand in a line at
the waters edge donned in fluoro attire to let
anyone facing mental health challenges know they are
not alone.
The
organisation was founded by Grant Trebilco who suffered
depression and anxiety for years beforehand.
Every
Friday at 6.30am, groups of colourfully dressed surfers
meet to surf and talk it out.
Since
launching in Bondi in 2013, the project has reached
more than 50 beaches worldwide, including the US,
Indonesia and New Zealand.
OneWaves
vision is to give people hope they can beat mental
health issues by creating a supportive community connected
by the ocean and sharing a simple recipe of saltwater
therapy, surfing and fluoro.

OneWave
is celebrating its fourth birthday by aiming to create
the worlds largest fluoro Mexican wave at Bondi
Beach.
