Best Quotes Of The Day

Quentin Tarantino

"I'm probably only going to make 10 movies, so I'm already planning on what I'm going to do after that. That's why I'm counting them. I have two more left. I want to stop at a certain point. What I want to do, basically, is I want to write novels, and I want to write theatre, and I want to direct theatre" Quentin Tarantino

"When people ask me if I went to film school I tell them, 'no, I went to films"

"When I make a film, I am hoping to reinvent the genre a little bit. I just do it my way. I make my own little Quentin versions of them... I consider myself a student of cinema. It's almost like I am going for my professorship in cinema, and the day I die is the day I graduate. It is a lifelong study"

"It's very important that every movie I do makes money because I want the people that had the faith in me to get their money back"

"To me, movies and music go hand in hand. When I'm writing a script, one of the first things I do is find the music I'm going to play for the opening sequence"

"'Django' was definitely the beginning of my political side, and I think 'Hateful Eight' is the... logical extension and conclusion of that. I mean, when I say conclusion, I'm not saying I'll never be political again, but, I mean, I think it's like, in a weird way, 'Django' was the question, and 'Hateful Eight' is the answer"

"My movies are painfully personal, but I'm never trying to let you know how personal they are. It's my job to make it be personal, and also to disguise that so only I or the people who know me know how personal it is. 'Kill Bill' is a very personal movie"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SzkFgEqB6Y

In Theaters December 5, 2025! Directed by Quentin Tarantino. Starring Uma Thurman, Lucy Liu, Vivica A. Fox, Michael Madsen, Daryl Hannah, Gordon Liu, Michael Parks, and David Carradine as “Bill”.

Quentin Tarantino’s KILL BILL: THE WHOLE BLOODY AFFAIR unites Volume 1 and Volume 2 into a single, unrated epic—presented exactly as he intended, complete with a new, never-before-seen anime sequence. Uma Thurman stars as The Bride, left for dead after her former boss and lover Bill ambushes her wedding rehearsal, shooting her in the head and stealing her unborn child. To exact her vengeance, she must first hunt down the four remaining members of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad before confronting Bill himself. With its operatic scope, relentless action, and iconic style, THE WHOLE BLOODY AFFAIR stands as one of cinema’s definitive revenge sagas—rarely shown in its complete form, and now presented with a classic intermission. First Teaser for Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Hateful Eight’ to Appear Before ‘Sin City 2' -
14th August 2014

Though no footage for his next film has even been shot yet, a teaser trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s next film, “The Hateful Eight,” will be attached to the release of Robert Rodriguez’s “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.”

The trailer will only appear in theaters, and the hope is that it will help get fans of Tarantino into seats to see both the teaser and “Sin City 2.” Tarantino and Rodriguez have been close friends going back to the ’90s, when the two were rising in the ranks of Hollywood’s next generation of filmmakers.

Filming for “The Hateful Eight” will begin next year and will star Bruce Dern, Kurt Russell and Samuel L. Jackson. No release date has been set yet.

“Hateful Eight” came close to never seeing the light of day when a script leak online forced Tarantino to nearly pull the plug on the entire project.

Following a live read of the script that involved the current cast for the film, Tarantino had a change of heart and is currently scouting locations for the shoot.
