at Austrian energy drink maker Red Bull GmbH reportedly
grew 1.45 per cent in 2014, far slower than in recent
years.
The
privately owned parent company of the Red Bull Group
made a net profit of 370 million euros ($A584.3 million),
the daily Wirtschaftsblatt reported on Friday, citing
the commercial register.
While
profits decreased in 2013, Red Bull had reported growth
rates of about 40 per cent in the two previous years.
Last
year's revenues rose five per cent to 2.66 billion
euros, but were outweighed by major marketing cost
for Red Bull, a major sports sponsor.
The
operating profit therefore fell 19 per cent to 333
million euros.
The
entire Red Bull group collected revenues of 5.11 billion
euros, 1.45 per cent higher than in 2013.
