Folks, guess what - there's life after pro wrestling... just ask Dwayne Johnson (Seven Bucks Productions) and living legend of pro wrestling, John Cena (following Johnson's lead and some of his advice), Dave Bautista (James Bond and Guardians Of The Galaxy), Hulk Hogan (despite often having his movies panned), and even wrestling great, Terry Funk (Paradise Alley) - a wrestling themed Rocky type scenario, that received mixed reviews.

Swinging into the current, WWE RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey has been confirmed as the voice of Sonya Blade in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11 video game.

"This is a dream come true. I tried to grow up to be Sonya Blade, as close as I could," Rousey said, according to the WWE website. "Now instead of being the closest thing I can be to Sonya Blade, I am actually Sonya Blade."

Other wrestling legends such as Chris Jericho (recently signing with AEW - All Elite Wrestling) have also enjoyed some success in the movie business, and even Scott Levy aka 'Raven' was in an Australian cult file classic 'Outback Revenge' which also featured some of the Media Man agencies friends and associates based on the Gold Coast... shout out to Bridgette Paroissien and Kym Jackson.

In years gone by a couple of WWE women aka 'Divas' also appeared in some risqué "movies', some of which were porn, but that's in the past now. We're not going to name and "shame" them - they did it of their own free will. A couple of former WWE (and WCW) male wrestlers have also dabbled in the porn industry. G'day Bully (who is apparently involved in the business end of the biz).

Pro wrestling aka sports entertainment, is an extension of showbiz, so if a wrestler shows enough talent to be in mainstream movie and / or television roles they should be encouraged. With the current style of pro wrestling the bodies of the amazing athletes are not going to be 100% forever, witness the popularity of yoga as rehab and cross training, spearheaded my our unmet friend 'Diamond' Dallas Page. Page is also a world class motivater and entrepreneur, but more on that in another article.

Public thank you to the guys and girls who put their lives on the line every single time they get in a wrestling ring, and we look forward to seeing you continue to display your artistic gifts on the screen and in any other medium you choose.

Always remember, great professional wrestlers are great athletes. Great pro wrestling is great art.
