Great writing and acting as per usual. Most people
in the world would love to have a 5 billion dollar
problem. I'm still waiting to see the FOX - WWE business
investment deal play out. Any meetings between Rupert
and Lachlan Murdoch with Vince McMahon, Triple H and
Michelle Wilson and WWE legal would be tremendous.
The deal was only inked about 6 months ago in the
US so it's going to likely take another season or
two of Succession to give the writers and producers
time to catch up to the actual business events that
occurred. Then we can get the Logan Roy and co's take
on things. In real life, the WWE is just one week
past their successful 'SmackDown' debut of WWE on
FOX, which featured a special appearance by Dwayne
'The Rock' Johnson, who is the number one box office
draw in Hollywood these days. Can't a decade or two
make a huge difference. DJ called his company 7 Bucks
Productions because at one point he has just 7 dollars
in his pocket. A big tech (Apple and / or Microsoft)
deal being played out on Succession would be fan also,
as well as the battles against what is known as the
FAANGs (but I still see Netflix as a friendly faang).
