team legends, B. Brian Blair and Jumping Jim Brunzell.
Their respective stories are revealed in personal
interviews between each and wrestling historian and
Squared Circle writer John Crowther. The entire series
is expertly illustrated by comics and animation legend
Dell Barras, with colors by Andrew Pate.
Named
for the famed Miami Dolphins defensive unit of the
1970’s, The Killer Bees are one of the most popular
tag teams in professional wrestling history. Comprised
of the Hiro Matsuda-trained B. Brian Blair and the
2-time AWA World Tag Team Champion Jumping Jim Brunzell,
The Killer Bees took the wrestling industry by storm
in the mid-1980's, leaping to the top of the tag team
ranks with their high-flying maneuvers and "masked
confusion" gimmick and reaching the pinnacle
of stardom by capturing the Universal Wrestling Federation
tag team championship in the 1990's!
