This will long be remembered as The Ultimate Deletion edition of RAW 2018 featuring 'Woken' (formally 'Broken') Matt Hardy vs Bray Wyatt. The match was pre taped, however remained the main event, as well is should be.

According to television industry website ShowBuzz Daily, this week’s WWE Raw viewership averaged 3.327 million, which is down slightly from last week’s 3.352 million viewership average.

This week’s WWE Raw also featured a previously announced Champion vs Streak match with Alexa Bliss facing Asuka.

Below is the hourly breakdown for this week’s WWE Raw viewership:

-The first hour averaged 3.434 million viewers
-The second hour averaged 3.472 million viewers
-The final hour averaged 3.076 million viewers

The final hour of Raw saw a steep viewership decline, not a good sign for Ultimate Deletion since the segment closed the show. The third hour of Raw has seen consistent viewership declines for numerous months.

For the second week in a row, WWE Raw ranked #1 in overall cable TV viewership for the night.

As is the case in the television and ratings business, things could always be worse, or better.

The wrestling industry feeling is that the match quality and talent depth is very impressive. The WWE is competing with all other forms of television, streaming and entertainment options as a whole. Fortunately WWE programing and content is found in virtually across all forms of media, be it WWE Network, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter et al. WWE is often the most discussed topic on social media, so the news is not all that bad for the sports entertainment (pro wrestling) giant.

Hardcore pro wrestling fans can also catch regular WWE and industry commentary on non WWE channels such as:
