Just when you thought it was safe to

Greg Tingle interviews pro wrestling sensation, Shark
I'm from 20, 000 Leagues under the Sea originally,
but now I spend most of my time wrestling on land
all over the world.
did you get your "break"?
first big break came when Chris
Kanyon discovered me at a wrestling show and hooked
me up with a WCW contract.
I was originally trained by Les Thatcher in Cincinnati
and later at the WCW Power Plant in Atlanta under
Orndorff and Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker.
and why did you come up with your character name?
original name was "El Piranha", which was
a character inspired by the Toadies song "I Come
from the Water" and the lucha libre influence
that was featured on WCW Monday Nitro at the time.
However, when I went to work for Ian
Rotten's IWA Mid-South, he wasn't too fond
of the name so we changed it to "Shark Boy".
your real name?
can just call me Shark Boy for now.
do your describe your style?
combination of solid mat wrestling mixed with high-risk
aerial tactics and plenty of biting people on the
DSD (Dead Sea Drop), more commonly known as Diamonddust.
have been the highlights of your career?
many to name, but plenty of them are listed on my

on wood, no super serious injuries, but I did get
a pretty scary concussion once.

wrestling on pay-per-view and cable TV, I've been
featured on MTV,

of Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels tapes. I've been influenced
by plenty of wrestlers over the years.
