Fox
Studios Australia is the benchmark for film and television production studios
in Australia. We are a team committed to the ongoing provision of world class
production facilities and services to the local and international film and television
industry. Fox
Studios Australia has quickly become one of the worlds most sought after studio
facilities since opening in May 1998. Fox
Studios Australia is a studio complex designed for film makers who want to work
in one of the world's most beautiful cities, accessing facilities of the highest
standard, nestled in parklands just 15 minutes from the city centre. On
a spacious 13.2-hectare (32-acre) site, the studio features eight stages, production
offices and workshops, alongside the creative community of over 60 independent
businesses. These businesses provide everything to fully service productions from
casting, travel and freight, equipment rental, postproduction and special effects.
We have postproduction specialists in film editing, sound re-recording and mixing,
including a purpose built orchestral recording stage. Feedback
from filmmakers who have worked on the lot reflects the impact of the unique ambience
of the studio. This comes from the history of the site, the mix of new and old
buildings and a beautifully established landscape that creates a sense of proportion
and space. This diversity of landscape lends itself to opportunities for exterior
filming. Stages, offices and other facilities are housed in a combination of purpose
built and heritage buildings. Fox
Studios Australia's approach is to provide flexible production buildings and technical
infrastructure to support film-makers. Our stages, workshops and craft shops are
available for dry hire and producers are encouraged to seek out the best from
the Australian industry to work with them here. The
adjacent precinct offers a retail complex, including shops, cafes and restaurants,
lush parklands, sporting facilities and entertainment venues. (Credit:
