Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess
of Cornwall will be in Australia for the next six
days as part of celebrations to mark Queen Elizabeth
II's Diamond Jubilee.

Prince
Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall will arrive
in Australia today for a six day tour that will take
in Longreach, Melbourne, Adelaide, Hobart, Sydney
and Canberra. The visit is part of Queen Elizabeth
II's Diamond Jubilee celebrations, which have seen
members of the royal family visit countries around
the globe.
Prince
Charles and The Duchess of Cornwall will spend two
nights in and around Port Moresby before touching
down in Melbourne for a five-night stay, which will
include an appearance at the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
The pair will acknowledge the service of the Australian
Defence Force and visit farmers, members of the emergency
services and young Australians while they are in the
country.
Prince
Charles was last in Australia in 2005, when he visited
Perth, Alice Springs, Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra.
This will be the first visit to Australia by The Duchess
of Cornwall.
