great pro wrestling card JR. Show picked right up after the pre-show. Everyone
worked hard, was passionate and cared. The in-ring action delivered and then some.
The wrestlers largely over-delivered, and as a Cody has outlined, theatrics and
drama are an important element in pro wrestling. It's not supposed to be NCAA
- amateur wrestling. Cody and Dustin put on a clinic of old school pro wrestling
that fans can invest in and get excited about. Jericho vs Omega was a masterpiece
in most regards. The Moxley (part) surprise was a most welcome addition which
helps set things up nicely for the next big shows. A couple of tech glitches which
need to be ironed out. I have sent a private message re the streaming co issue
(for Australia). I'm 5 years PPV executive and I have very high standards. I think
the international streaming and media dealings should be improved, and get things
on par with the amazing in-ring action. AEW needs to set and exceed standards
with their business partners, not just AEW crew, if you follow. Could be the PPV
- major wrestling event of the year in many regards. Thank you Jim Ross, Cody,
Jericho, Khan clan and all AEW'ers who over delivered and put the wrestling world
on notice in a big way. I almost feel sorry for VKM but his a big boy and a billionaire,
so he can cop it sweet. It should motivate Stamford if anything Outstanding work
Team AEW. PS: I enjoy both promotions. That's the beauty and magic of an alternative.
TNT is going to be dynamic off the charts and will further light a fire under
