Netflix users don't play games! LinkedIn News! Ok, about 1 percent do. As I wrote and advised Netflix recently, how about some combat sports (boxing, wrestling and/or MMA) and a surfing and extreme sports themed games? Even some movie and TV themed games and then you may have something to get a bit excited about. It's cost effective for Netflix to add games via OTT (Over The Top), however let's listen to the Netflix client base more closely is my overall suggestion. Games that the customers actual want and would play. I hardly ever play videogames but give us WWE, AEW, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, NWA, RetroMania, UFC,.Mike Tyson's KO, WSL, X-Games etc and then you've got something that will sell itself and actually generate positive buzz. Netflix Marketing and Business Development.. you are welcome. Offer us the contract like SMH and Kayo did previously and then we will really give you the nuts and bolts solution to the problem of Netflix Games. Game on, and we know Binge and Foxtel Group are watching this space also. Could be heading for a Main Event says former Optus ex PPV executive. The game of business continues.

I telephoned Netflix Help and reached "Josh". I mentioned my expertise in subscriber television, gaming, digital business etc, and also that my credentials are with Netflix Australia. I boldly said that I believe I can take the Australian Netflix subscriber base playing their games from 1 percent to 10 to 30 percent within 3 to 6 months if given the choice. Josh was silent. I said "Perhaps you are not allowed to comment". He confirmed. I said I've been writing about Netflix and Netflix Games and will continue to do so. Overall I am a happy Netflix subscriber but there is a huge disconnect with the gaming service!
