Battle
Championship Wrestling (“BCW”) is a premium
Australian Professional Wrestling company established
in Melbourne, Australia in 2016. The goal of BCW is
to provide the Australian market with quality Professional
Wrestling Events that entertain and engage the fans,
bringing them closer to the action and talent in a
truly unique manner.
BCW
has sourced a roster of the highest calibre featuring
the best Wrestlers from around the country along with
strong international alumni including the likes of
former WWE Superstars Rob Van Dam, Bobby Lashley,
Scott Steiner, Melina, Ken Shamrock, Shelton Benjamin
and many more.
BCW
runs monthly shows in Burwood, Melbourne and also
undertakes tours across Sydney and Adelaide most recently
completing multi city tours in 2018 that were billed
as “Lucha DownUnderground” and “Extreme
Battle” where stars of the hit Netflix show Lucha
Underground and the legendary Extreme Championship
Wrestling roster were the main attractions.
BCW
hosts three championship divisions including the BCW
Championship (currently held by Maddog), the BCW Tag
Team Championships (currently held by Carlo Cannon
and Ken Shamrock) and the BCW Women’s Championship
(currently held by Melina).
BCW
is also proud to bring the Australian fans closer
to the most legendary names in the business by hosting
intimate “An Evening With” Live Interviews
where international stars performing on upcoming shows
sit down with the fans to give their personal account,
insights and stories on their journey in Professional
Wrestling and the tales that ensued. Such Live Interviews
have featured Orlando Jordan, Buff Bagwell, Shane
Douglas, Sabu, Santino Marella, Katie Forbes and many
more.
In
2019, BCW will continue to bring its unique brand
of Professional Wrestling to the Australian market
with multiple shows to be held across Melbourne, Sydney
and Adelaide that will feature the best local talent
and most iconic wrestlers from across the globe.
