Sylvester
Stallones 'Expendables' movies are always stacked
and loaded to the max with mega stars. However, which
stars will align for 'The Expendables 3'? That's the
question that fans from Bondi Beach to Hollywood,
the UK, Canada and beyond are asking themselves.
Entertainment
news online publisher, Deadline, reports that the
action franchise will likely include Jackie Chan,
Nicolas Cage, Wesley Snipes, and Milla Jovovich in
the cast. Stallone and Jason Statham are already on
board, and Mickey Rourke is expected to return after
sitting out the 'Expendables 2.' Stallone himself
tweeted out the news:
Theres
no word yet on whether Jean-Claude Van Damme, Arnold
Schwarzenegger, or Bruce Willis will also reprise
their roles.
'Expendables
3' would be Snipess first acting gig since he
got out of prison two months ago on a tax evasion
conviction.
Many
fans are also interested to see if Sly can once again
get on board 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin (the WWE pro
wrestling legend), along with fellow wrestling legend
'The Rock' (Dwayne Johnson). Johnson is being called
"Franchise Viagra", but he's schedule is
quickly filling up, and he's already got his hands
pretty full in the action genre, including with the
soon to hit US TV 'The Hero'.
Whatever
the mix of actors for 'Expendables 3' its looking
like a hit... one that Sly is no doubt looking forward
to, having suffered mixed reviews at best in the past
few movie comebacks, as did his movie star mate Arnold
Schwarzenegger.
Pro
wrestling fans will get a kick out of seeing Mickey
Rourke (who played Randy 'The Ram' Robinson in highly
acclaimed 'The Wrestler'. Fun fact: Rourke was trained
in pro wrestling in a crash course of sorts, by 'The
Wild Samoans' training camp.
'Expendables
3' gets 5 stars for audience anticipation, but likely
won't scrap more than 2.5 stars from the Hollywood
movie reviewers brigade!
