‘NANNA’
TERRI NEW BB FAVOURITE
52
year-old grandmother Terri has been made favourite
to win the current series of Big Brother with leading
bookmaker Lasseters Sportsbook following tonight’s
eviction of Bianca.
Terri
($3.50) has replaced Travis ($4.50) at the top of
the betting boards after both
survived tonight’s elimination. Serial nominee
Rory is the outsider in the field at $13.00.
“Terri
has slowly been building support inside and outside
the house and it’s quite
remarkable given that she was 100-1 earlier in the
series,” says Lasseters’ Gerard Daffy.
“I
think Travis’ antics may be wearing a little
thin with the housemates and his ‘posimistic
attitude may bring about his demise,” Daffy
added. “The public seem to like him though."
Terri
is the sixth favourite to win the 2008 series of Big
Brother according to Lasseters, following in the footsteps
of David, Alice, Renee, Nobbi and the squeaky voiced
Travis.
