WIN TEN GRAND IN THE INSIDE SPORT/SOUL MODELSEARCH.
It
all came down to one steamy Saturday night at
the Coogee Bay Hotel, with 24 stunning models
parading on stage in front of a roaring crowd
and a cast of rather overwhelmed judges. MTV’s
cameras were there alongside Inside Sport’s,
capturing every twist and turn for their forthcoming
feature on the big event. Finally the votes were
tallied. The winner, by technical knockout, was
Renee Slansky, a superstar from Sydney with big
plans for success in the corporate entertainment
industry. Those ambitions sure got a kick-start
with the $10,000 cheque. Runner-up was Carissa
Walford, from Sydney’s west, who when she
isn’t dancing, singing or playing touch
footy cites her favourite sport as … shopping!
She got to ride away on an Aprilia motor scooter.
Two other girls received awards. The sparkling
Emma Ingram dazzled her way to the Miss Personality
prize, while Perth’s own Melissa Byrne took
out the title of Miss Bikini. Thank you linesmen,
