Wrestlenomics
is reporting that AEW Full Gear did around 145,000
buys on Saturday night.
That
is down from the 200,000 buys for All Out but that
was expected because All Out had the hype around CM
Punks first match in 7 years and the surprises
that fans were expecting.
Full
Gear 2021 did well above last years show that
drew around 100,000 buys. The final number for 2021
will be higher than 145,000 once the late buys are
accounted for. The late buys traditionally account
for approximately 10 percent of overall sales.
This
years buyrate shows that the company has real
momentum with their existing roster and the new signings
have also paid off.
