Healy says Warne, Marsh leave huge hole
Former
Australian wicket-keeper Ian Healy says cricket has
lost two of its most engaging figures in Shane Warne
and Rod Marsh after both men died in the last week.
Healy
spoke to Today this morning about the pair.
If
you could take two people out of our sport who were
the most engaged, the most upbeat characters we had
- they are gone in the space of a week, Healy
told Today.
Healy
said Warnes accuracy was his greatest strength
as a bowler.
I
always say his greatest skill was his accuracy,
Healy told Today.
I
think Warne is the greatest bowler there has ever
been and his greatest skill was he could put the ball
where he needed to for a particular batsman for long
periods of time.
