our first match announcement for BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP
WRESTLING 33 long time foes do battle as BCW TAG TEAM
CHAMPION and THE WORLD’S MOST DANGEROUS MAN KEN
SHAMROCK goes one on one with DAN THE BEAST SEVERN!
On
14 July 1995 at UFC 6 SHAMROCK and SEVERN fought each
other for the inaugural UFC Superfight Championship
which ended in a guillotine choke victory for SHAMROCK.
Seething
from the loss SEVERN sought out revenge and after
SHAMROCK defended his Championship against Oleg Taktarov
and Kimo Leopoldo the pair faced off again. This time
on 17 May 1996 at UFC 9 SEVERN edged out SHAMROCK
with a split decision victory to claim the UFC Superfight
Championship.
Twenty-three
years later and the SHAMROCK VS SEVERN beef has yet
to be settled. While SEVERN has been traveling the
world teaching many far and wife, SHAMROCK has re-entered
professional wrestling and become a regular talent
for BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING where he has been
victorious as one half of the BCW Tag Team Champions
with Carlo Cannon!
On
Saturday 31 August 2019 the score will be settled
between THE BEAST and THE WORLD’S MOST DANGEROUS
MAN – who will retain bragging rights for good?
