Man Makes Property Splash, by Miller Markson
Media Man is following in the tradition
of other media companies and making a splash into
the property market.
Director,
Greg Tingle and his partner, will soon be relocating
to Bulahdelah, some 230 kilometres north of Sydney,
to enjoy the lifestyle benefits that are implicit
in semi rural living.
Media
Man has been liasing with local property mogul, Jeff
Carryer, of Reality International for close to 12
months, and has finally found the definitive property
that offers everything they were looking for in home,
home office and general lifestyle choices.
Greg
Tingle says, "We have established the business
to such a stage with our existing clients that we
can do much of our work on the telephone and online.
We will be tripping to Sydney on average of once per
week to maintain that valuable face-face-face contact
with clients, and to "pitch" for selective
new business. Some of our clients, and many of our
friends, have told us that they have also been considering
the Bulahdelah area. The locals have made us feel
very welcome, and we are looking forward to doing
business with them as well".
Those
familiar with the new era of doing business in the
media "space" will know that Greg and his
team are not the first, nor will they be the last,
to move their offices out of Sydney. SAE Institute
director, Dr. Tom Misner, has his creative media headquarters
at Byron Bay, half way up to Brisbane, whilst Paul
Budde of Budde Communications prefers Bucketty, some
150 kms north of Sydney. Kerry Packer of course owns
a famous pad at Palm Beach, on Sydney's northern beaches,
but a million miles from worry, and John Laws' lodge
out at "Happy Valley" way is legendary.
MMA
has also diversified into other property interests...,
as is now representing... situated at Airlie Beach,
off the Whitsunday Islands, where 3 distinguished
'residences' have been released onto the market. Greg
inked a deal with ..., after initial discussions regarding
top line entertainers worth considering for their
upcoming birthday bash. For the uninitiated, the Whitsunday
Islands and The Great Barrier Reef are renowned for
sailing; a yacht lover's paradise; and numerous sports
- fishing, scuba diving, hiking, outrigging, flying,
golf
all married harmoniously with an uncomplicated
lifestyle.
Greg
incidentally has a "warm body" (Laura Sivis
of Courage Films), off to the Cannes Film Festival
to "pitch" movie scripts in a week, and
he believes that there must be a French yachtsman
there somewhere just waiting to invest into Australia,
via the Whitsundays, where the yachting facilities
are second to none.
There's
certainly no disputing the trend to give lifestyle
choices priority over what has been considered traditional
thinking on urban living.
For
those that prefer the hustle bustle of Sydney, as
does Greg's client, "Aussie Richard Branson look-a-like",
(about to board a plane rumoured to be Virgin, from
Perth, Western Australia), Media Man Australia has
available to lease, a superlative sound proof, media
and creatively friendly studio and office space, right
in the heart of Sydney at 70 Judge Lane, Woolloomooloo,
where Malinda Rutter previously operated the 'Pokodots'
talent agency for over a decade. It was also once
the home of Billy Field's famous Paradise Music Studios.
Meanwhile,
swing the compass south to "Mexico".
"You
can't escape me", the "Human Headline"
Derryn Hinch once told Media Man Australia, meaning
he everywhere, in all forms of media, and now it appears
that MMA is doing the same thing, but in their case
with property deals going on everywhere from Sydney,
Bulahdelah and all the way up to Airlie; backed up
by a strong Internet, broadcasting and print presence.
For the cynics still not convinced, do a search on
Google, and see and listen for yourself.
Whatever
your real estate requirements are for your media empire
in the making, Media Man Australia has you covered.
