Statue Bodyart creates Nova 969 promotional models
for race day; Sydney, Australia...
This
afternoon the Human Statue Bodyart team created two
bodypainted male models to help promote the Nova 969
handicap horse race.
Hundreds
of patrons... especially the ladies in the crowd lapped
up the action and eye candy on offer from the 2 legged
stallions sporting the 'live life Nova' artwork.
Before
long a large crown gathered around the male models
and Nova stand and many lined up to say hi and get
their photos with the boys on the Nova red carpet.
The
promotion help further cement Nova as a leading Australian
radio station, as well as seeing the AJC and their
Rosehill Racecourse and premier brands further rise
in profile.
Human
Statue Bodyart has further cemented its reputation
as the recognised leader in the Australian bodypainting,
human statue creation and air brushing industry and
Rosehill Racecourse has earned some extra local, state,
national and international news media coverage.
Well
done to everyone involved in the success of the promotion
and day of racing. We know the punters and especially
the ladies at the track look forward to the special
attractions from Human Statue and their friends at
the AJC.

Nova
96.9 (call sign: 2SYD) is a commercial radio station
operating in Sydney, Australia, owned by DMG Radio
Australia.
History
One
of the driving forces behind the creation of Nova
was the growing demographic of youth who were embracing
the commercialised anti-pop movement fronted by such
artists as Daft Punk and Spiderbait, but for whom
Triple J, operated by the publicly funded Australian
Broadcasting Corporation, had no commercial incentives
to offer. Initially the music selection on Nova 96.9
was very similar to that of Triple J, and a number
of the station presenters, most notably former breakfast
hosts Merrick and Rosso, which were also former Triple
J staff. However, while Triple J has retained its
alternative style, Nova has drifted towards a more
commercial format. Meanwhile, other stations have
adopted Nova's more varied programming style, to the
point where Nova is now hard to tell apart from other
commercial FM stations.
Along
with its sister stations Nova 100 Melbourne, Nova
106.9 Brisbane, Nova 91.9 Adelaide and Nova 93.7 Perth,
Nova claims to be Australia's leading under 40s brand.
The most recent Nielson radio ratings for Sydney (survey
4, 2010) gives Nova a soft 6.2% share of the Sydney
audience.
Since
2010 Nova 96.9 have been sponsoring the Sydney Roosters
and its logo can be seen on the back of the main jersey.
Nova 96.9 also sponsor A-League club Sydney FC (Official
Radio Partner).

teaching MakeUp and Bodyart at Parramatta College,
in Sydney's west.

description: Working in the Advertising industry.
They provide short certificate courses to help students
for a career in the makeup industry that require glamorous
looks using key techniques, many of our graduates
have become self employed as makeup artists. Upon
the completion of the course all course graduates
will be given a chance to hone their skills at events,
both course and events are supervised by a qualified
production team. Topics include: Design Makeup for
Catwalk, Film, Advertising, Smokey eye technique,
Everyday makeup, Asian Makeup, Fantasy Makeup, Goal
Planning, Preparing a portfolio and Marketing Yourself.
Fee includes all makeup to use in class (Napoleon
